China Mobile and Vodafone sealed a strategic cooperation framework agreement on February 15, 2011 in Barcelona, according to a report by Xinhua. As per the agreement, the two companies will jointly promote converged LTE (Long Term Evolution) technology and LTE terminal development. Other areas of cooperation under the agreement include enhanced roaming services, multinational customers, green technology, network roadmap management, joint innovation, and R&D. It is reported that the two companies will also continue their cooperation in various business areas, such as exchanges in corporate management and technical and operational expertise.
